Vehicle Description
Stk 2295 1957 Willys Jeep
Willys-Overland emerged from World War II with a ready-made
workhorse. In 1946, they adapted their wartime Jeep to become the
Jeep Station Wagon. This partially restored 1957 Willys Wagon has
had a few cosmetic and mechanical upgrades, but it is still
basically that Jeep Wagon. The body is very straight and was
refinished in Sand Beige (2011). Chrome trim and 15" black spoke
steel wheels with Goodyear Wrangler tires add nice contrast. (The
original wheels are also included with the purchase.) A new beige
vinyl interior was installed in 2013. The dash is factory and a new
headliner has been added. Front carpeting is in very good condition
and rear flooring incorporates finished oak strips. A set of
Stewart Warner gauges monitor engine functions and a Pioneer
AM/FM/CD stereo is tucked neatly away in the glove box. The Jeep is
now powered by a 4.3L GM V-6 that runs strong. There are numerous
companies (Advance, Novak,...) that have designed complete
conversion packages for this GM 4.3/Willys format. The engine was
rebuilt in 2012 with performance additions including an aluminum
Edelbrock intake that mounts a Weber 2V carb. It is backed by what
is believed to be the factory 3-speed manual transmission. The
transfer case has dual levers indicating that it is the same Dana
unit that was standard in the '57 Willys. Front hubs are manual
locking and brakes have been converted 4-wheel discs with a Wilwood
dual master cylinder. This Willys is ready for a new owner who will
appreciate the great looks and upgraded muscle of this unique
wagon. Call 800-650-1055 or visit our website at
