Vehicle Description
With its combination of options, this is a rare and interesting
GT350. It is one of 31 Hertz rental cars, yet it does not have the
H designation as a rental car. A Marti Report verifies that this
GT350 was ordered by the Hertz Company of Los Angeles, CA, on
December 20, 1967. It underwent a nut-and-bolt restoration by
California Bodyworks in 2007. Photos of the restoration, as well as
all documentation, will accompany the vehicle. Great care was taken
to return this Shelby to its original glory, including adding the
Shelby stripes. Everything - from top to bottom - has been gone
through. It features all-new wiring; the 302ci, 4-valve engine was
rebuilt to factory specs; and both the brake system and the
suspension were rebuilt. It has an all-new interior from carpet to
roll bar as well. This vehicle came from the factory with a C4
automatic transmission and has been upgraded to a 4-speed manual
transmission. Marti Report included.
