1949 Pontiac Silver Streak, 2-door coupe in outstanding condition
throughout. Two owner with nice history. 107K, so only 1573
miles/year. Car looks 7,000. Always garaged, maintained and
pampered since first day. Straight as they get, no rust anywhere.
Floors, body mounts, frame and trunk all nice and dry. One refinish
in her correct Skylark Blue with Ivory top. Door jams, etc were not
painted since not needed. All weather stripping was replaced.
Professionally done and simply gorgeous. Sharp looking metal visor
and metal skirts. All very attractive. All chrome bumpers new, same
as grill and rare optional rear bumper guards and rear bumper
overrides. Also front rare bumper guards with rare bar all
re-chromed. So lots of cool chrome. Famous Pontiac hood and trunk
chrome center strips all re-chromed. Famous Indian Hood ornament
re-chromed and yes this excellent Indian lights up to guide your
way. Interior is like new also. Mohair seats excellent and even
smell correctly. Door panels and headliner all excellent. New
carpet, dash looks new and all gauges work. Optional radio works,
optional clock and heater. I've sat in her for 20+ minutes and am
just amazed how cool and sweet she is. Factory fog lights work.
Steering wheel, horn ring and center Pontiac steering wheel emblem
are original and look new. Detailed stock 6-cyl purrs and starts
every time. Rare find with stock 4-speed automatic (yes, shift 4
times) and is very peppy. Original keys, manuals and other
documents. Sold new in southern South Dakota and stayed there. They
still do not use salt on the roads there, only sand. Body is
outstanding. I've driven her at freeway speeds and on dates with
wife. I think we go on more dates just to drive this beauty and get
