FGateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this super
cool 1937 Oldsmobile F37 Sedan Street Rod. That's right don't let
the gangster wide white walls fool you into thinking this a mild
mannered all original 1937 Olds. While the sheet metal is all
original under the hood lies a much more modern power plant. The
transformation occurred in 2008 when the new owner of the car
decided he wanted a little more oomphf under the hood. Out came the
old engine and a new 350 Chevrolet crate motor was installed along
with a 200R4 Trans. An Edelbrock intake and Edelbrock 600 cfm
Carburetor have been added to 350 for a little extra added power.
An aluminum radiator supplied by Summit Racing keeps the 350 nice
and cool. A custom driveshaft was made to connect the transmission
to the 57-64 Chevrolet rear end with 3.36 gears. The rear end uses
stock leaf springs, while the front consists of a Nova Subframe,
steering box and brakes. A 88 Jeep power brake booster is utilized
and makes this Olds a breeze to stop. To keep the old school vibe
on the outside, the car has been painted in a deep gloss black. The
Wide White Walls are Coker Tire Radial fitted on Wheelsmith rims.
The hub caps have been modified to fit the wheels and finish out
the look. Inside the car looks to be all original, but there are
subtle upgrades. The steering column is a late 70's to mid 80's GM
vehicle. The gauges have also been upgraded to a 12 volt system.
Another nice addition is vintage AC, so you and you friends will
not look cool but can stay cool when cruising on a hot summer
night. Options for this 1937 Oldsmobile F37 Sedan include; AC,
Power Brakes, Power Steering, Cloth Interior, Tilt Steering Wheel,
and Wide White Wall Radial tires. To view over 100 HD pictures of
