Vehicle Description
Trying to find an all original low mileage 1969 Mach 1 is nearly
unheard of, but that is exactly what you are looking at. This '69
Ford Mustang Mach 1 is a true survivor and has been loved and cared
for by only three owners. The Ford Mustang Mach 1 is a
performance-oriented option package of the Ford Mustang, originally
introduced by Ford in August 1968 as a package for the 1969 model
year. The Mach 1 title adorned performance oriented Mustang
offerings until the original retirement of the moniker in 1978. As
part of a Ford heritage program, the Mach 1 package returned in
2003 as a high performance version of the New Edge platform. Visual
connections to the 1969 model were integrated into the design to
pay homage to the original. This beautiful Candy Apple Red Mach 1
is all original besides the paint that was redone in 1994 with the
original color and paint scheme. She only has 42,803 original
miles. That has always been stored in a garage with a car cover.
Standard equipment was a 351 cu in Windsor with dual exhaust,
backed by a 3 speed FMX Select Shift Cruise-0-Matic automatic
transmission, and a 9" traction-lok rear axle with 3.00:1 gears,
SelectAire A/C, black knit vinyl Mach 1 Hi-back bucket seats, power
front disc brakes, a shaker Hood Scoop sitting atop of the iconic
351W engine, tinted glass, power steering, and an AM radio for your
entertainment. You'll be amazed how well this Mach 1 drives down
the road, almost forgetting that you're behind the wheel of a 48
year old muscle car. As you look past the wood steering wheel with
a rim blow horn, the 351 Shaker Hood Scoop shaking, and the AM
radio rocking out your favorite tunes, you'll remember what it was
like to be in 1969 when gas was only .35 cents a gallon. In the
same year, Neil Armstrong uttered his famous words "That's one
small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." Don't hesitate to
take the first step in getting the Mach 1 you always wanted and
take a leap into the ride of your dreams! To view the car in
