For sale in our Denver showroom is a black and silver 1950 Willy's
Jeep CJ3A. This Willy's Jeep is as real as it gets; VIN: 51980. The
Willy's-Overland introduced the CJ-3A model in 1949 to replace the
CJ-2A. CJ employed the same "utilitarian" features that gave the MB
model great success in WWII. Even so, Willy's-Overland realized the
value of driver comfort, even in a "work" vehicles such as the CJ.
Increasing leg room adding a windshield ventilator for the
circulation of fresh air. The suspension was a notable improvement,
as the vehicle was still being used for various agricultural
applications. They also retained the "Go-Devil" 4-cylinder engine,
as did the M38 military version built during 1950-52. This Awesome
little jeep has endured a full frame off restoration. New body
fenders and tailgate in March 2016. A new hood with the custom hood
scoop was also added for engine clearance. As you can see from the
pictures the restoration has been very meticulous, from the
windshield down to the new wiring and lights. The paint job was
completed in September 2016. New seats will help soak up the bumps
along the trails. The rebuilt motor, believed to be a F134
Hurricane, and 3 speed manual with high and low transfer case will
allow you to take this little beauty anywhere you need to go; and
will surely turn heads at any 4 wheel drive event. Hop in this
fantastic Willy's Jeep and step back to a different era, following
the end of World War II and the beginning of the Baby Boomers known
