Delivered new by Sewickley Porsche, this classic Guards
Red/black Targa was ordered with sport seats in full leather,
factory Carrera spoilers front and rear, Fuchs 16" forged alloy
wheels, 4-spoke leather sport steering wheel, Blaupunkt Reno
cassette radio (upgraded to modern CD), Air conditioning with dual
condensers, power windows, central locking system, and cruise
control.
This well serviced example was dealer serviced thru 1992, then left
in the very capable hands of John Raysich Automotive. We first
purchased it in July of 2006, with 30k.miles,and our local indie
shop could only manage to spend seven hundred of our dollars to
button it up! They gave it a 30k service, charged the A/C, and
replaced the rear brake rotors, and shifter bushings. The next
owner continued an officious maintenance regimen buy changing oil
and filter every 3k. miles for the next 8 years...During which time
he also replaced the air filter twice, gas filter, and repacked the
wheel bearings, replaced the oil return tubes, adjusted the valves,
installed silicone valve cover gaskets, and converted the A/C to
r-134a, installed new alternator and A/C belts, Magnacore 8.5 mm
ignition wires, and alignment.
Presently it has 46k. miles, and has once again gone through a
thorough PPI at Heistand Automotive for its next owner. Recently
replaced clutch, pressure plate, t/o bearing, shift fork, all new
shocks, four new Z rated tires, changed the oil/filter, brake
system flush, heater motor, alignment, and completed an Inspection
and Emission Certification. All it needs today is a new care-taker
that will appreciate its outstanding original condition, and overly
officious service regimen. View CARFAX Report at
