The Toyota Century was a hand built limousine developed to be the Japanese equivalent to a Rolls Royce. Debuting in 1967 to celebrate the 100th birthday of the company’s founder Sakichi Toyoda, each car was built to order by trained craftsmen at Kanto Auto Works (now owned by Toyota).
All cars had a long list of technolical features including power everything - windows, front and rear seats, locks, mirrors, steering, brakes, rear curtain, automatic climate control and adjustable suspension.
This Century is in excellent condition with original paint, interior and V8 powertrain with just 29,546 miles (47,550 km). It is obvious that this car has been exceptionally well maintained.
Imported from Japan nearly 2 years ago the car has been driven over 500 miles in the Florida heat with no issues.
Mileage was verified in Japan where their thorough and trusted inspection system graded the car a 4 - "only the lightest of blemishes". This is a very high grade for a 27 year old car.
Clear Georgia title states 29,000 miles.
This wonderful automobile starts, runs and drives perfectly and draws a crowd wherever it goes. Incredibly smooth and quiet drive.
