Our ’55 Ford Customline has 77,398 believed original miles. The ’55 was originally Aquatone Blue but when it was restored, it was upgraded to torch red and it wears the red very well. The torch red makes it stand out from the crowd. The interior is white vinyl with black trim and is in good condition. There are a couple of tears in the driver’s seat, but outside of that the interior is in very good condition. The original AM radio is still in the dash but a more up-to-date AM/FM/Cassette radio has been installed under the dash, next to aftermarket voltage, oil and temperature gauges.
When you lift the hood, you will see the classic Thunderbird symbol on the valve covers of the 292-cubic inch V8, which powers the ’55 and is paired to the 3-speed Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission. A new electronic fuel pump was recently installed. When you turn the key, you will enjoy the rumble coming from the dual exhaust. Put the ’55 in gear and you will turn lots of heads traveling down the road for a spin or off to your family outing. You will have enough room to take the whole family in style.
