This is a real Y-82 Special "Bandit" Edition! Documented by Pontiac
Historical Service. The 400 motor has been stroked to a 468 with
500+ hp at a cost of $12,156. We sold this car 6 years ago to the
current owner. The underside is completely rust free, still has
factory primered floors. The body is clean and straight. The paint
presents itself very nicely, it's shiny and glossy with only some
minor imperfections. It has been completely professionally
restriped, Bird decals replaced. It has the early production Hurst
hatch t-tops each car was literally sent to the Hurst company to
have the tops installed. We have receipts for the motor he had
built and $4,553 in receipts for other mechanical repairs. 4 speed
was rebuilt, new tires, gas tank, heater core, steering box,
electric choke, high torque starter and more. Mechanically it's
inspected and ready. The owner removed the a/c components from the
motor, they are included with the car. Because of the movie, this
is one of the most recognizable cars in history. They have sold for
as much as $500,000. With this motor, Smokeys won't catch ya!
