WAS ALMOST RUST FREE. SMALL AMOUNT OF RUST IN TRUNK PAN, REPLACED. LS1 GM MOTOR WITH A 4L60E TRANSMISSION. UPDATED REAR END WITH AUBURN POSITRACTION. 3.43 GEARS. THE UNDERCARRIAGE IS CLEAN; THE SUSPENSION IS UPGRADED WITH 4 WHEEL DISC BRAKES AND MAGNAFLOW EXHAUST. BUDNIK MATRIX 18” WHEELS WITH NITTO TIRES. ALSO A NEW CPP STEERING BOX.
DOCUMENTED FRAME OFF RESTORATION. THIS CAR STARTED ITS LIFE AS AN ESPRIT.
INTERIOR MAINTAINS THE ORIGINAL PONTIAC STYLING WITH BLACK SEATS, LEATHER INLAYS AND RED BASEBALL STITCHING. CENTER CONSOLE HAS BEEN UPDATED FRAMING THE FOUR SPEED SHIFTER WITH LEATHER COVERED HANDLE AND RED BASEBALL STITCHING. ORIGINAL INSTRUMENT PANEL FEATURES BEAUTIFUL OVERSIZED CUSTOM SPEEDHUT GAUGES. CAR MAINTAINS ORIGINAL TILT STEERING COLUMN WHICH HAS BEEN REBUILT WITH TRANS AM STEERING WHEEL COVERED IN LEATHER WITH RED STITCHING TO MATCH INTERIOR. CAR MAINTAINS ITS ORIGINAL FACTORY AIR CONDITIONING. CBM MOTORSPORTS BUILT ENGINE WIRING HARNESS, COMPUTER AND DIALED IT IN. CAR HAS NEW GM STYLED RADIATOR WITH ELECTIC FANS. FENDER BRACES ARE CUSTOM LAZER CUT.
“FIRE CHIEF” HAS BEAUTIFUL RED CUSTOM PAINT, ALL GRAPHICS HAND PAINTED FROM THE PHOENIX TO THE LETTERING ON TRUNK AND SIDES OF CAR. IT IS LASER STRAIGHT, GAPS ARE SPOT ON. DOOR HANDLES AND WINDOW TRIM AS WELL AS THE GRILL AND TAIL LIGHT BEZEL HAVE BEEN BLACKED OUT. REAR BUMPER MATCHES CAR.
