Vehicle Description
This 1970 Ford F-100 looks like a great vintage pickup. But as you
notice some of the subtle upgrades, they let you in on this truck's
performance big block secret. So as you discover all the virtues of
this Ford, you're going to be amazed it's all available right now
for such a nice price.
The two-tone turquoise and white is the perfect way to represent
this truck's era while also conveying a premium appearance. Of
course, the shining condition tells us there has been a nice
investment in erasing decades of going to work. The real proof is
in the pickup bed, where someone went the extra mile and
straightened every dent and gouge that shows it ever carried a
load. Or maybe it never did have a hard life in the first place.
That would explain why the sheetmetal still looks nice today. But
more than just a great period-correct presentation, this pickup
gives a few hints at its custom and sporty nature. The
well-integrated rear roll pan and large 15-inch Eagle Alloy wheels
let you know there's added performance here (more on that in a
moment.)
The two-tone is continued inside. We love how the exterior
turquoise is retained for the metal pieces, and a nice white vinyl
is used on the seat, headliner, and textured door panels. But
thankfully, the armrests and carpeting is nicely done in black, so
you don't have to wash up/dust off before getting into this pickup.
And just like the exterior, while this looks like a great
period-correct presentation, there are also some nice upgrades.
When you slip behind smaller diameter sports steering wheel and
gaze at the upgraded gauge package (including large column-mounted
tach) it signals to you there's something special under the hood -
even before you twist the key and hear it roar.
Ford's huge 460 cubic-inch V8 was never available in this
generation of F-Series, but from the way it appears in this engine
bay, it looks like it belonged here from day one. And more than
just big block displacement, this truck has been further enhanced
with go-fast goodies like a Holley four-barrel carburetor,
Edelbrock intake, MSD distributor, and long tube headers that feed
an awesome sounding dual exhaust. Like a good pickup, this has been
built to be a strong and sturdy runner, so you won't you'll love
the powerful V8's performance AND durability. In fact, no matter if
you want to use this to show off or just weekend chores, great
driving features like the three-speed automatic transmission, power
steering, and BF Goodrich T/As make every trip an easy one.
A cool looking truck with a seriously muscular heart... and it's
available today at quite an affordable price. It's this kind of
desirability that lets you know you need to hurry to grab this
deal. Call today!!!
