Vehicle Description
Make a big entrance in this big 1971 Chevrolet K5 Blazer. At the
heart of this Blazer is a 406 Chevy small block fed by a Edelbrock
carb through a Holley intake. The transmission is rebuilt Turbo 350
fortified with a 2200 stall converter. The NP205 transfer case has
been rebuilt and fitted with larger yokes. The front end is an
Eaton posi unit with 4:11 gears, new axles brakes and ball joints.
The rear end is a new Easton Positrac with new axles and
brakes.
The exterior paint is fresh, new and looks fantastic, the tires are
35 inch Mickey Thompsons mounted on bead lock rims all riding on a
6 inch suspension lift. Other mechanical features included power
steering, hydra boost style power brakes, headers, dual exhaust,
B&M shifter, chrome alternator, Sky Jacker Shocks, tachometer
with shift light, etc. The interior is nicely appointed featuring
Corbeau sport seats that are harness capable, matching Corbeau rear
bench seat, new carper, new gauge bezel, console, new door panels,
and more. The soft top is by Soft Topper features roll up side
windows and is excellent.
This is an amazing build on an iconic vintage 4X4. The Chevy K5
Blazers are at the top of the heap in the vintage 4X4 world and a
well done custom example such as this are in high demand and will
