contact us for more information. This 1960 Jensen benefited from a
ground-up restoration and is a two-owner car. It was once owned by
Quinten Keynes, Charles Darwin's grandson and the nephew of Lord
John Maynard Keynes, founder of "Keynesian Economics" The car was a
true barn find as it sat for 40 years and has retained all of the
original tools, equipment and documentation from the Jensen
factory. It has all-new chrome and the engine was replaced by
Jensen at the factory and has less than 900 miles on it. Over
$125,000 spent on the restoration. It has new wire wheels, tires,
carbs, radiator refurbished, new suspension bushings, new exhaust,
and body that was taken to "bare metal" and painted in Deltron two
stage Milano Red, new Italian leather interior, Wilton Wool carpet,
and all mechanicals have been gone through. It has working
overdrive, right hand drive, and I one of only 541 with this grille
which was installed at the factory. It has factory installed custom
interior and steering wheel. It was the fastest 4-seater car in the
world in 1960 at over 125 miles per hour and is powered by a 4.0
Litre straight 6 Austin motor with triple carbs.
