The 2011 Factory Five Racing GTM Supercar offered here was purpose
built by UDRA national drag racing champion and now world renowned
engine builder and tuner, Ty Mason. The car was specifically built
to compete in the unlimited racing class at the 2012 Silver State
Classic, this particular class runs at speeds in excess of 200 MPH.
Unfortunately, Mason chose to side line the car at the event
following a tragic accident earlier during that event involving a
close friend. Since, this street legal car has been driven to
various shows, participated the Detroit to Dallas leg of the Power
Tour, and used at some private events.
The car features a full tube chassis with full integrated and
sanctioned roll cage (the cage has removable side bars for street
driving). It has been certified and passed tech for the Unlimited
Class at the Silver State Classic for over 200 MPH. The car weighs
in at just over 2800 lbs. The car is powered by a Corvette LS3
engine that has been bored and stroked to 418 CID, the heads have
been CNC ported, polished and the engine has all forged internal
parts. It produces over 600 HP with 11.0 to 1 compression on 93
octane pump gas. The power is transferred via a 4L60E automatic
transmission and delivered to a 3.42:1 positraction rear gear.
Other equipment includes 26 gallon fuel cell, Haylon Fire
suppression system, Fully functional carbon rear wing, carbon fiber
rear diffuser, carbon fiber front spoiler, air conditioning, in
dash fully upgradeable GPS, AM/FM stereo, DVD player, Back up
camera, power windows, fog lamps, projector headlamps, Michelin
tires (front 245/45/18, Rear 345/30/19, tire pressure monitoring
system, 2 Power ports, USB ports. The quality of this GTM super car
is amazing as no detail was over looked during the mock up, build
and final assembly. Our test drive revealed an absolutely thrilling
automobile to operate. The power and handling is comparable to cars
that are 10 times the money and the comfort that a car like this
offers is unprecedented. Whether you are running flat out in a
competition situation or just doing some grand touring, this car
has the versatility to perform.
