This super original 1950 Chevrolet Business Coupe has had 2 owners since new and the original mileage on the car is 17,812 miles!!!
The first owner owned the car from 1950 to 1980, he kept it on blocks in his barn for most of the 30 years he owned it.
The second owner bought it in 1980, brought the Chevy to Arizona and he kept it as a part of his collection for 37 years until he passed away recently.
The car is 100% original and untouched from the original (thin in places) paint to the original interior that is so nice it's almost like new still. The rubber floor mat in the front is very dry.
The second owner replaced the original tires in 1980 since they were dry but with no wear. And the battery has of course been changed a few times, turnsignals were added (can easily be removed again) but except for service and upkeep the car is as it left the factory in 1950.
The Chevrolet drives excellent, everything from the way the gear shifter feels like new the way it operats to steering to door handles, everything tells you that the car has very few miles on it. It is often said about old cars that the original spare has never hit the ground, well I'll say the same thing and it is really true.
As the saying goes, they are only original ones and this Coupe is more orignal than most old cars around!!!
Personally I would not change or touch anything, just keep the car as is and drive it every now and again to keep it in the excellent condition it is in now.
