contact us for more information. This rare 1949 Chrysler Windsor
Convertible is a unique classic custom car build that was
constructed utilizing modern up-to-date technology. The custom
touches included transforming the front fenders and grill and into
the smooth style of a 1950. The gas nozzle was removed and molded
into the fender and the exterior chrome was completely re-plated.
In 2006, a brand new crate 350cid Chevy engine was installed
coupled to a 400 automatic transmission. In addition, block hugger
headers were added along with an aluminum radiator, and mounted on
a completely rebuilt '69 Camaro front end. It was converted to disc
brakes, with power master cylinder, power steering and it rides on
custom built aluminum Centerline wheels. The interior is equipped
with air conditioning, modern power bucket seats and center consul
sporting a blue-tooth, hands-free car stereo/CD player. The tilt
and telescoping steering column and custom interior that matches
the rims and steering wheel accent the design. Also, Dolphin gauges
in a custom dash along with air conditioning controls that match
add a nice finishing touch. This custom 1949 Chrysler Windsor
convertible was recently painted in December of 2016. The
convertible top was professionally upholstered in January of 2017
along with a brand new hydroelectric power system to make it easy
to enjoy a summer drive. It is an award winner and head turner
everywhere you drive.
