more information. This is a very rare 1957 Chrysler New Yorker
Two-Door Hardtop that was first purchased by a judge in
Pennsylvania and kept until his passing in 1960. There were only
6,000 miles on the odometer. It was left in his widow's garage for
nearly thirty years before being rescued and returned to road
worthiness. They had to break the garage door to get it out. The
Chrysler now has approximately 48,000 miles on the odometer and, in
the past, was given a repaint in its original "Sunset Rose" color.
The body is very clean with some slight damage under the left rear
wheel well. The 392 Hemi runs exceptionally quiet and smooth.
Recently rebuilt were the Torqueflite transmission, brakes, power
brake booster, radiator and heater core. The original style ply
tires have approximately 250 miles on them. The upholstery does not
fare as well as the rest of the car but is very useable for the
weekend cruise.
