For sale in our Chicago showroom is this refreshed 1947 Ford F-1
pickup truck with lots of personality! Powered by a peppy 226 cubic
inch flathead V8, this truck moves pretty well! Making this
exceptionally more fun to drive is the fact that the original
3-speed manual transmission has been evicted, and in its place is a
T-5 manual transmission liberated from a late-model S10 pickup. The
trans shifts buttery smooth and vastly improves the entire
experience of cruising this classic, not to mention the boost in
MPGs! The whole truck has seen some extensive work done over the
last few years, including having the engine completely redone, and
it runs like a top! The heads were removed and magnafluxed, as well
as the block, to check for any cracks or imperfections. It was all
reassembled and dropped into the freshly painted truck. Driving
this baby out on the sunny days is absolutely great, but on the
poor weather days, you'll have to tuck it away. Thanks to the
installed battery tender, you won't need to worry about jumping it
at the beginning of every season! With perfect road manners,
highway drivability, and plenty of character, this is one fun '47
Ford F-1. Options include: AM/FM Radio, Hub Caps, Vinyl Interior,
and White Wall Tires. For more information on this unique 1947 Ford
F-1, contact our Chicago showroom at (708) 444-4488 or
