This car is a 1964 Chevelle Malibu Convertible and has been completely disassembled and partially reassembled, body off, using only the highest quality new or N.O.S. parts throughout by an award winning car restoration professional.
Engine - GM Performance Parts LT-4 (1996 Corvette) all new and never been run. Equipped with TRW forged pistons, GM H.O.T. cam, 424 HP. All accessories including AC, PS, Alt are new and are running on 1996 Corvette Accessory drive system. Includes Hooker Super Comp Headers.
Center Force Dual Friction clutch and flywheel.
Transmission - GM Performance Parts, Richmond T-56 6 speed, B&M leather short shifter.
Rear Axle - Currie assembled Ford 9 inch with a Strange aluminum center section.
Wheels - (5) Budnik Billet 17x10, tires are BFG but are rollers ONLY
Body - The body is mostly stock. Modifications include rear quarter Malibu emblem holes removed, entire transmission tunnel has been raised and shifter box created for 6 speed. Firewall has been semi-smoothed to highlight the custom carbon fiber heater/AC box. Door hinges are N.O.S. Dash has had dash pad holes removed. Vintage Air under dash AC System has been fitted, and factory ’64 Chevelle AC Dash corner outlet balls have been added, (Non AC car). Bumpers are straight. High quality re-chrome.
All Stainless trim is accounted for, and polished to perfection.
All trunk trim is installed on the car for the final time and is also of the highest quality.
Interior - All interior paint is complete, glove box and ash tray were painted with dash and are included. Rear seat spring frames are included, NO FRONT SEATS, NO DOOR PANELS. New carpet in the box. All new rubber kits and seals included. Tilt column. New wiring harness thru out.
This car has been in climate controlled storage for 20 years. It has areas that have been “Final” assembled but most of this car including windows, need to be assembled one more time. ALL parts were new 20 years ago.
Known Missing Parts - Parts that I am aware are missing are a complete brake system, convertible top canvas, door panels, front seats, dash insert, driveshaft, exhaust from headers back, AC hoses filter etc.
