Vehicle to be offered for Auction sale August 17th - 19th, 2017 at
Russo and Steele's 17th Annual Monterey, California Auction. Please
contact us for more information. This is a 1965 Mark 1 Tiger that
has been through a complete bare shell restoration. Every nut and
bolt was removed and either NOS or better pieces replaced. It
features a custom built 302ci Ford with Edlebrock heads and intake,
SS headers and custom built 2 1/2 exhaust system, 5 speed TKO
transmission. A complete Dales front cross member with fully
adjustable suspension, camber, caster, toe and ride height. Plus
adjustable shock absorbers front and rear, heavy duty springs, sway
bar, four wheel Wilwood brakes with vented rotors and Halibrand
style cobra wheels. The body was stripped to bare metal and a multi
coat base coat/clear coat paint system applied, color sanded and
buffed to perfection. The underside was also stripped and painted.
All new black interior and trim to original specification. All new
rubber gaskets everywhere. Top frame restored and new soft top.
Restored hardtop. A total of less than 500 miles has been put on
since finishing. This Tiger was conceptualized as a brutally fast
road car with race car handling in a comfortable and striking
package. The concept was exceeded. It has had a TAC inspection from
the Sunbeam Tiger Owners Assoc. and is TAC # 1191. This was a
California car before restoration and serial number is listed in
Norman Miller's archives. It is the real deal.
