435hp 427ci L71 Restoration Engine with matching numbers, 4 speed
manual transmission. Features include transistor ignition, air
injection reactor, side exhaust, AM/FM radio, redline tires, soft
ray tinted side glass. STOP THE PRESS -- here's a great deal for
anyone who's ever wanted a '67 L71 Convertible, but doesn't want to
spend $250K+ for a super nice, body-off restored example with a
matching numbers engine! Originally assembled on July 6, 1967, this
1967 Corvette Convertible is in particularly nice condition with a
newer BODY-OFF RESTORATION, as well as an NCRS Chapter Top Flight
award from 2006. Odometer shows 56,885 miles, which are documented
as actual by an included copy of a 1998 Tennessee title. This car's
paint looks to be a newer and very high quality job, and is vg-exc
with a stunning, mile-deep shine. Convertible top looks to be newer
as well, and is vg-exc. Side glass shows correct date codes. Chrome
bumpers show a newer finish, and are also vg-exc. Exterior door
handles show an older or original finish, and are in good
condition. Rally wheels are vg with vg trim rings and center caps,
and Firestone Deluxe Champion redline bias-ply tires show an
average of 9/32nds tread depth remaining in the front, and an
average of 7/32nds remaining in the rear. The interior of this 1967
Corvette Convertible shows exc seats, door panels, gauges, and
glovebox lid, vg dash pods, good condition center console and GM
seatbelts, and vg-exc carpet. Although this car's engine shows a
correct casting number, VIN, and acceptable casting and assembly
dates, we believe it to have been restamped, and therefore we are
selling this car as having a restoration engine with matching
numbers. Air cleaner, carburetors, intake manifold, ignition
shielding, valve covers, exhaust manfiolds, radiator hoses and hose
clamps, and ignition wires would all be correct for a 427/435hp
car, and the frame is solid, rust-free, and nicely detailed.
Included are records dating back to 2003, Top Flight award, and
photos of the car's body-off restoration. This car has been fully
serviced, and all instrument gauges, lights, turn signals, brakes,
engine, transmission and rear-end are all in good operating
condition. This is a super nice car that would likely be twice the
price if it were numbers matching, although it comes very close to
looking the part -- call us today to bring it home! 57K Miles. FREE
