For sale in our Chicago showroom is this absolutely stunning 1941
Cadillac Series 61. Being that this is a '41 Cadillac makes it a
fairly rare vehicle. Add in the fact that this is a Series 61 makes
it even less common. What truly makes it one of a kind is the
plethora of upgrades and custom work bringing this rare antique to
a whole new level. Powered by an LT1 350 CID V8 liberated from a
'95 Buick Roadmaster, this Cadillac moves much better than it did
in '41! The 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission make cruising
this Caddy a pleasure, whether on small road or big highways. The
exterior is sure to grab your attention with no detail overlooked.
A full coat of Purple Kandy was laid on thick giving a deep mirror
shine to the classic lines. A set of polished aluminum wheels fir
the body well bringing the car into the modern era. The heavy front
bumper was ditched in favor of a custom fabricated integrated
bumper giving the car much cleaner lines, and an overall smoother
appearance. Not one for fender skirts, the builder opted to have
them removed and lowered the fenders a few inches on each side to
keep the "tucked" look. The roofline remains unchanged, which is
very refreshing in a time of chopped roofs on anything from sedans
to pickups. The interior has seen just as much attention to detail,
including re-arranging components of the dash to allow the modern
electrical gauges to be kept in direct line of sight while driving.
The complete interior was redone in more modern materials to give
the feel of a modern plush Cadillac with the lines of a classic.
