For Sale at Auction: 1956 Jaguar MK-1 in Reno, Nevada
This fully customized 1956 Jaguar Mark-1 was fabricated using many
of the finest modern components available. Features such as a high
performance Chevy 350 V-8 engine, 700-R4 automatic transmission,
power 4-wheel disc brakes, power rack & pinion steering, a custom
upholstered interior, power windows, remote power locks, power
rear-view mirrors, 8-way power seats, and CD stereo system make
this a truly custom vehicle. While retaining the basic external
looks of this 61 year old classic automobile, this rare 1956 Jag
has been fabricated with the addition of several pieces of modern
technology. The Jaguar Mark-1 was a small uni-body sedan so the
conversion to a modern V-8 engine with a/c and power steering,
automatic transmission and Ford 8" rear-end took real ingenuity and
engineering expertise. This vehicle represents an excellent example
of a traditional custom sedan conversion. The Appraised Replacement
Value of this vehicle from Auto Appraisal Network is $91,500.00.
