Aluminum heads sight on top of the massive V-8 and Holley 1050 CFM
Dominator carburetor provides the fuel. With a 13:1 ratio, 110
octane fuel is recommended. Handling the power of this beastly V-8
is a built Chevrolet 400 Turbo Hydramatic Transmission with a 4500
stall convertor. Making sure that the rear end is up to the task is
a custom Ford 9 inch rear end containing a Detroit Locker with 4.56
gears. With as fast as this Henry J is capable of going, safety
concerns have been addressed with an Alston Chassis and a full roll
cage to protect the driver and the occasional passenger. Four wheel
disc brakes will bring the Henry back down from high speeds in a
hurry. The owner states that even though this Pro Street car has a
ton of power it is still very easy to drive. He attributes much of
this to the Mustang II style suspension and the overall
professionalism to detail during the build of this street beast.
Climbing inside the Henry is relatively easy as the Steering wheel
is removable. Once inside, the interior is crisp and clean with
only the necessary gauges to keep track of critical engine
