even rarer when that owner had the car for 41 years. This 1976
Buick LeSabre custom is a cream delight. In gorgeous all original
condition, this car features the numbers matching 350cid V8 and
automatic transmission. With all numbers matching and original
parts and no sheet metal replaced, this car is a time capsule. In
addition to its unique condition, this family car comes with tons
of original marketing literature, brochures, build sheets and
original window sticker. These historical documents are worth the
price alone!
The 350cid engine starts up without any hesitation and sounds good
with that classic V8 burble. The automatic transmission shifts
smoothly and the car goes down the road very well. Fitted with the
optional H2 "Firm Ride and Handling Suspension" it rides very well
in a contemporary fashion. The good ole Buick float is there but it
doesn't feel like a boat. The interior is as comfortable and
spacious as you would expect from a full size premium automobile.
With variable ratio steering and power disc brakes, the car turns
and stops like a modern vehicle.
The cream exterior is in wonderful original condition, a few
blemishes here and there but enough to give it a bit of charm. The
chrome trim is plentiful and in excellent shape and the original
upgraded Buick wheels are a nice touch. The optional white vinyl
top is tight and doesn't sag. The interior dash is immaculate with
no cracks or any marks on the dash. The wood trim is perfect and
all instruments appear to be functioning correctly. The power door
locks work as does the radio and heater.
A fabulous car, this all original survivor is a rare find. Not many
cars are loved and cherished by their owners and even less are 41
