5-Speed Coupe. Finished in Bianco Polo over Bordeaux leather
interior, this Lele Coupe is an early 327 350hp 5-Speed manual with
chassis number 0087. Lele 0087 is an Italian delivered car (still
retains all of its original KM gauges) and was imported into
California in October of 1985 where it has lived ever since.
Documented all the way back to the time it was imported into the US
under its ISO club member ownership, this Lele Coupe has lived well
maintained life and has covered a mere 68,600 miles (110,450km)
from new. Wearing a very nice older restoration, this Lele has a
very handsome presentable paint in original color combination and
wears its original leather interior that shows incredibly well with
an excellent patina. The body is very nice and straight with no
rust to be found on the body or on the undercarriage. The
undercarriage appears to be original with no signs of any prior
accidents or damage. The 327, 350hp Chevrolet engine starts right
up and does not smoke under start up or acceleration. It runs
smooth and has excellent power. The gearbox is nice and precise
free from any grinding in the synchro's and the clutch has an
excellent solid feel free from any slipping. The brakes are nice
and solid and free from any fade or grinding. The car has new
shocks on all four corners and has a nice firm but comfortable and
smooth ride. The steering feels solid with no play or sloppiness in
the wheel. Brand new period Michelin XWX tires have just been put
on the car and the original wheels have been re-powder coated. All
of the electronics in the car are operating as designed including
all of the exterior lights and interior lights, dash lights,
original Becker radio and power antenna, headlights and headlight
doors, turn signals brake lights. Accompanied with the sale of this
beautiful Lele Coupe are the original ISO keys, the original owners
handbook and dealer brochure, original spare tire, jack and knock
off tool and a very large file of documentation dating back to when
the car arrived in the US in 1985. All of the documents from the
ownership of the ISO club member and all of the work that has been
performed to the car over the years will come with car. This is an
incredible opportunity to acquire a very rare Italian exotic from a
small Boutique Italian automaker that is so rarely seen in today's
market. The Lele was ISO's final new model produced by the
manufacture and with a production total of just 285 and of those
285 only 125 ever left the Bresso Milano factory.
