Vehicle Description
Originally a California car, this 1954 MG TF was bought new by its first owner, who sold it to a family in 1957, where it was loved and cared for for the next 36 years. Stored and rarely driven, the vehicle was transferred among family members, during which time it made its way to New Jersey in 1993. There, the new owner, a member of the same family, replaced the ash wood floors, repainted the body, and replaced the interior. Soon after, he moved to Brandon, Florida, and sold it to its new owner in Tampa. It moved around Florida a little, all the while used sparingly and garaged when not in use.
According to the consignor, this MG TF has an undocumented 25,789 actual miles. The entire fuel system and ignition systems have recently been serviced, a process that included rebuilding the carburetors and fuel pump and flushing the gas tank. Spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor are all new, as well. This vehicle has also received a recent tune-up. Sold with a title and registration.
