the highest bidder August 17th - 19th, 2017 at Russo and Steele's
17th Annual Monterey, California Auction. Please contact us for
more information. The 1957 Chevrolet resto-mod "The Fordolet" began
in 1998, starting with a full frame-up restoration, ending in 2002.
The Ford components were kept in the inner-workings in the engine
bay and under carriage. Included were Fatman Fab stage 4 Mustang II
front end with air bags, Currie 9 31 spine rear-end, with a Detroit
Locker and 3.73 rear-end gears tucked under a 2 mini tub. It also
included electronic 4-wheel disc brakes, 427 Stroker engine, topped
with a Kenne-Bell supercharger. Tremec T56 6-speed transmission,
aluminum driveshaft, 21-gal stainless steel gas tank, runs on
regular pump gas with 6lbs of boost. Could easily make 1000+
horsepower with 28 lbs of boost. It also has power windows, seats,
door-locks, trunk release, wind-wings. Fully custom grey leather
interior. A/C, Dakota Digital gauges, DVD and TV along with
navigation system. In 2013, it took 3rd place in the Semi Hardtop
class at the Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona, CA.
