1966 Ford Fairlane GT
This 427 dual quad side oiler is believed to be engineered and built by Holman Moody. Engine and trans. ID numbers show 1968. Holman Moody were famous for working with the FMC and producing race ready engines and suspensions and cars for NASCAR and the NHRA in the mid sixties. This Fairlane was set up for quarter mile racing and still has the original Holman Moody decal in the windshield.
The 1968 paint work is in amazing condition, employing blue, purple and black as well as incorporating the old school metal fake. This car has been in two private collections for the last 35 years with a mere 120 miles being put on it in that time. The overall condition is excellent with all original body, glass and interior.
This Fairlane also has the correct fiberglass hood with scoop from the era. The engine runs great it sounds incredible a truely special car.
