KILLER PRE-WAR SHOP TRUCK, V8/AUTO, DISC BRAKES, READY
TO DRIVE! 41 was a special year for the auto industry, these were
the last trucks to be made before the factory shut down. This truck
has been fitted to an s-10 chassis and makes a great hot rod. Take
a look at the details, pictures, and video:
Cosmetic
- Paint/Body: Awesome all steel patina then
clear coated for a killer shop truck or rat rod look. Dents and
dings and a few weld patches on the truck consistent with this
style.
- Interior: Late model bench seat set in a
little bit offset to the left. Gauges are period correct but not
hooked up. Carpet on floor is presentable.
- Glass/Windows: Original windshield glass still
looks pretty good along with the original door glass. Rear glass is
cracked.
- Trunk: Pressure treated wood bed stained to
match looks very nice.
- Undercarriage: 1983 S10 full frame, all solid
and rust free. The original body of the truck has a few rusty
spots.
- Wheels/Tires: Newer tires with portawalls.
Restored wheels with new beauty rings.
Mechanical
- Drivetrain: 350 V8 starts easily and runs
strong. 350 Turbo transmission shifts out good. This truck drives
very good and is lots of fun.
- Lights/Electrical: Headlights, tail lights,
and brake lights all working.
- Brakes: Disc brakes up front and drum in rear.
Stops great.
This is a really fun truck to drive as is, or make it your own
by continuing improvements. Watch the video then call Erick at
