Vehicle Description
Yes this is a restored real-deal 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS with
big-block power and all the right speedy upgrades. So we won't
blame you if you skip ahead and just call us now, but everyone else
can continue to read the rest of the details on this cool
coupe.
This is the kind of muscle car that draws attention and makes
others jealous. There are just some of us who can't get enough of
the flying buttress design of this pillarless hardtop coupe. The
bright white is the result of an investment in a professional hand
applying super-smooth modern paint. It looks fantastic under our
showroom lights and even better gleaming in the sunlight. This is
the perfect complementing shade for the brightwork that's in all
the right places like Super Sport vented hood, extra wide bumpers,
and the trim that outlines every inch of glass. And since this is a
code-138 real-deal Super Sport, so it has earned its correct
badging on the front, rear, and fenders. The finishing touch of
bright aggression is on Chevy's hallmark Rally wheel package.
Inside, Super Sport means bucket seats and a center console. These
sporty elements look particularly nice because the red interior
look radiates out from the exterior paint like it's the beating
heart of this SS. The Chevelle might have been Chevy's intermediate
size coupe in the '60s, but today that means plenty of room in the
back to comfortably carry family and friends. And everyone stays
entertained with the upgraded AM/FM radio. But while all of this
seems like the perfect coupe to share, the Chevelle saves its best
treats for the driver. The red and chrome three-spoke steering
wheel feels great in your hands. You have a commanding view of the
extra-wide speedometer. Plus, the auxiliary gauge trio and large
column-mounted tach are clear indications there's something good
under the hood even before you twist the key.
While this one looks fantastic inside and out, the best upgraded
presentation is clearly in the engine bay. The whole area was
designed to show off with the black walls providing the perfect
backdrop to all those polished components. And more than just an
award-worthy shine, the bold block paint furthers this image of
radiating power. All this intimidation is well earned because,
while the callouts on the exterior say 396, this is actually a
larger 402 cubic-inch big block V8. And more than just extra
displacement, it has go-fast goodies like a Holley four-barrel
carburetor, Edelbrock Performer 2.0 intake, K&N air filter, and
long tube headers. This was a thoughtful build, so while the
rumbling dual exhaust tells the world this is a mean machine, the
aluminum radiator quietly keeps the big power package cool. Chevy's
TH400 three-speed automatic transmission can handle this extra
power as it feeds the stout 12-bolt rear end. Plus, you have great
anytime driving features such as power steering, power brakes,
front sway bar, and an upgraded rear springs.
This is an intimidating big block coupe that has the exact right
look and sound everyone loves. So we know when it looks this good,
it won't stay long in our showroom. Call today!!!
