Look at this...a vehicle that had just been built before gas,
sugar, tires and more were rationed and the big three were
retooling to build everything from bombers to tanks! This 1941
Willys Americar model 441 spent its time in Waterloo Iowa during
WWII and has since been brought back to great condition and is
ready to be driven and enjoyed! The Americar was only made for 2
years making this is a quite rare car. This 4 door sedan is all
steel including fenders and has been repainted in a beautiful 2
tone burgundy paint scheme. The interior was redone at the same
time as the exterior and is also in very nice condition with no
rips or tears in the upholstery on the seats or matching door
cards. The dash is painted to match with an original speedometer
and gage cluster that is in working condition. There is the
underdash heater installed in the car although it has not been
hooked up yet so no fluids have run through it and it's in like new
condition. This rare classic is still powered by the "Go Devil"
inline 4 cylinder just as it would have been when it left the
Toledo, Ohio assembly plant. This car has been owned in Iowa all
it's life with the current owner having it for the past 30+ years.
It is now time to find a new home to take it out and drive it like
it should be and there has not been many miles put on since it's
restoration. During the restoration some filler was used on the
inner rockers and rear pan which you can see in a couple of the
underside pictures that are listed. If you're looking to own a
