Now available at our Philadelphia showroom, Gateway Classic Cars is
excited to offer this wicked 1972 Dodge Demon! Ah yes, the story of
the Demon is one that has been discussed in many automotive circles
as it transformed the image of the revered Dodge Dart. Advertised
as a performance car, the Demon appealed to the youth market and
joined forces with its Chrysler cousin, the Plymouth Duster, in
going up against the similar rival manufacturer vehicles. While
Dodge's devil child proved not to be as popular as the Duster, they
continued to produce these potent A-bodies up until 1973, after
religious groups protested the name and brand resulting in the
renaming of the car as the Dodge Dart Sport which lasted until
1976. This second year offering of the Demon is bold in appearance,
wearing sharp orange paint and crisp white racing stripes. Take
note of the neat badging including the infamous devil boy and
pitchfork. Equipped with a 340 CID V8 that shifts its power to the
dependable 8.375 rear, you'll be burning rubber in no time! Admire
the white vinyl top that pairs with the spacious interior with
sporty white bucket seats and a large steering wheel that turns
with ease thanks to the handy power steering. The low production of
9,000 Dodge Demons makes these cars quite collectible and you are
sure to be the center of attention on the road, shows and cruises!
Don't let your pride get the best of you though, it's one of the
seven deadly sins! Act now and make this devilishly good-looking
ride yours today! To view this 1972 Dodge Demon in greater detail,
