For Sale: 1952 Vincent Trackmaster in Nipomo, California

Vehicle Description

Offered here is a All New, Concours Perfect 1952 Trackmaster Vincent 1000cc Custom with 4 miles.

History:
An original/project Vincent Twin was purchased from Californian Gary Davis, a certified motorcycle enthusiast and former racer. (Gary Davis earned great renown worldwide as a top stunt coordinator for the movie industry). As it turned out Gary was not only the seller but also the garcious contributer/consultant as the build proceeded.

This unique one-of-a-kind bike was specially built from the ground-up by Trackmaster Racing. (Trackmaster is well known for their light weight chrome-moly racing frames used in flat track racing). Deviating from their standard frame for this custom bike, a larger frame was designed and built for the larger V-Twin. The frame geometry was also modified to be better suited for street use. To achieve the the fork angle needed, Trackmaster designed and CNC machined a special aircraft aluminum triple clamp and solid billet. The modern telescopic forks and disc brakes (dual front and single rear) are from a Suzuki SV650. For street use light were also fitted.

Compared to other V-Twins, the all aluminum Vincent unit construction engine/tranny is very compact and not nearly as heavy. By joining the Vincent engine with this strong, but featherweight frame the finished product is pleasingly light and easy to handle. This bike recently won the Best in Show Award over 100+ other bikes in the SLO Classic Motorcycle Show put on by the California Central Coast Classic Motorcycle Club.
