Vehicle Description
When you see the bright paint and full custom interior, you'll
think this 1963 Ford Galaxie is one of the coolest customs you've
ever seen. Of course, once you see the blower on the 501 ci V8, you
realize that this is really a wild and ready full build that's just
legal enough for you to hang a license plate off the rear.
A 1963 Galaxie is the right place to start when building a custom
prostreet machine. After all, those afterburner-inspired taillights
go perfect with jet fighter amount of horsepower protruding from
the front. Plus, with the wraparound chrome bumpers, full-length
C-channel side trim, a sleek hardtop profile, it makes for a great
classic presentation. But just to make sure this coupe gets the
standout attention it deserves, the total package was stripped to
bare metal and then wrapped in Tangelo Pearl with six coats of
clearcoat. The result is a modern color that radiates so much gloss
and shine, they'll think your coupe is nuclear powered. And the
reason it all still resents so nicely today is because there is one
mile on the whole build - yes, one single mile!
Open the door to one if the nicest custom interiors around. The
exterior orange has returned as an accent color for all that
expensive tan leather. The result is the kind of premium and
uniform appearance that wins awards (and we can show you this one
already has!) And of course, with only one mile on the clock, it
means there hasn't been time to even put a crease in those custom
bucket seats. But while this looks and feels comfortable, they
didn't forget that this is a true performance machine. The best
components were just integrated very carefully. For example, that
matching leather-wrapped steering wheel is a grippy sports unit.
And the custom center console houses the ratchet-style shifter as
well as the boost gauge and extra large tach.
Ok, we won't leave you in suspense any longer about the monster
motor. Within that super clean engine bay is a 460 cubic-inch V8
bored out to 501 total. And while that monster displacement would
be enough for some people, this one also has a Dyers 8-71 blower on
top... and the upgrades don't end there. You have dual Holley 750
CMF four-barrel carburetors, Dyers hi-rise intake, Edelbrock
Performer heads, ARP bolts, JE Pistons, moly rings, Eagle crank &
connecting rods, Comp Cams hydraulic camshaft, double roller chain,
and an 8.9:1 compression ratio. So even if people were not
intimidated by the Mr. Gasket butterfly scoop protruding from the
hood, they'll instantly know to be afraid when they hear the
thunderous roar of the side exit dual exhaust. This big muscle runs
through a rebuilt and fortified C6 three-speed automatic that keeps
an ideal powerband thanks to a 2500 RPM stall. All this muscle is
then sent to a stout limited slip rear end. The final step to make
sure all this power meets the pavement are the wide Mickey Thompson
rear tires on Weld Racing wheels.
There's a ton more to go over on this full custom prostreet
machine. So call us for all the details. This one has so much power
and charisma that it draws a crowd where ever it goes. So you know
a total package like this is going to be gone soon. Call
