This car has hydropneumatic, self levelling suspension, that basically is the same used in the legendary DS. It rides and handles superbly.
The car has been imported to the US by myself and has been touring the country for three weeks ( 5000 miles of a very enjoyable journey ).
The car is in excellent condition and all the common issues with this model have been addressed before coming to the US, so that is ready to be used for many years without worries. It is the perfect vehicle for a car enthusiast, with, ideally, some mechanical/hydraulics knowledge.
This XM is much simpler to maintain or repair than a DS or CX by a DIY who can take good care of it.
