New arrival 7-12-17 previously from our Barn Find Collection 1958
Desoto Fireflite 4-Dr. Sedan- Exterior 2-tone paint presented in
Steel Gray / Sand Dune Yellow complemented by a 2-tone Green vinyl
& cloth interior. Features include: * 361 C.I. / 305 H.P. 4 BBL V-8
engine with dual exhaust * Push button automatic transmission *
Power steering * Power brakes * Radio, clock, & heater * Padded
dashboard * Rear mounted radio antenna * Original Desoto script

with cover Previously from our Barn Find collection, this hard to
find & desirable late 50's Mopar wing car has just undergone a
comprehensive mechanical restoration by the restoration shop who
services our collection. The 361 C.I. V8 engine was completely
overhauled, transmission resealed, complete brake overhaul, carb
rebuilt to run on ethanol gas, new fuel tank, along with a complete
new alumacoated dual exhaust system, & so much more. The interior
seat upholstery & carpet were also just replaced in our get ready
shop. It is now ready to take to the next condition level or just
drive the way it is. It still wears it's original paint showing 60
years of fabulous patina. We decided at this point not to paint the
car in case any of you die hard Mopar purist out there take
interest & prefer owning preservation over restoration. Our
restoration shop we use can re-paint it for a reasonable price &
finish it up the way you want from an inexpensive "blow & go" all
the way up to an award winning paint job. The undercarriage is
solid & original with excellent floors, trunk, rockers, & frame
(please see the numerous undercarriage photos provided). The lower
quarters have some minor rust as you can see in the photos but that
