Vehicle Description
Welcome to Street Dreams Texas as we celebrate our 18th year in the
classic and muscle car business. Second generation Camaros
(1970-1981) have been popular since their introduction for many
reasons including clean styling and performance. Both of these
qualities peaked with the 'chrome bumper' cars of 1970-1973. For
many people the high water mark for these cars was the LT1 engine
available in the Z28 from 1970-1972. These came from the factory
with serious hardware including 4-bolt main bearings| solid-lifter
camshafts, and forged crankshafts. This 1972 Z28, while a bit of a
'diamond in the rough', still has its original, numbers matching
block (suffix CKT| vd 2N168071)! One of the services that we
provide for our clients is assistance in managing their
collections. This healthy driver came to us when a client's wife
stated something has to go! after a recent purchase. The car has an
unrestored and largely original chassis. Additional features
include power steering| power brakes, TH400 automatic transmission,
Rally Sport split front bumper, headers, an Edelbrock aluminum
intake manifold, and a Holley carburetor. This baby can continue to
be a fun and entertaining driver or the foundation for a restored
1972 LT1 Camaro Z28 (one of only 2575!). Street Dreams is a full
service dealership that can assist with worldwide delivery,
insurance, and financing options.
