many of its original parts. The owner reports the numbers (engine,
transmission, differential) appear factory original and correct for
the car. The current owner has been the caretaker of this special
"Fuelie" Corvette since 2009. It is located in PENNSYLVANIA.
SPECIFICATIONS as reported by the owner: This 1961 Corvette has the
very desirable Rochester #370 Fuel Injection unit. That option was
factory rated at 315 horsepower. Other options include: Two-tone
paint. Signal Seeking AM radio. Heater. Four speed transmission.
Positraction 4.11 axle. In 1961 all Corvettes were equipped with
vinyl interior, soft top, sun shades, windshield washers, courtesy
light, temperature controlled radiator fan, and parking brake
warning light. CONDITION RATING: The owner rates the overall
cosmetic condition of his Corvette as excellent driver quality
(rating it at 8). The acrylic paint was applied in 1999 and is in
very good condition. The color matches the original Tuxedo Black
with Sateen Silver coves. The chrome and stainless are in very good
condition as is the glass. The black vinyl interior appears
original and is very well preserved. The undercarriage is clean and
solid and has never been restored. The owner reports the Corvette
runs strong and tracks straight down the highway. The Corvette
receives annual maintenance (lube, oil, filter) and is driven very
few miles. The 283 cubic inch engine show the "CS" stamp on the
