1971 Plymouth Barracuda! This awesome black-on-black beauty is
truly something to see! With less than 100 miles since being fully
restored - this is going to make a real car guy very happy! Under
the hood we a date-correct 1971 G-Code 440 CID motor that has been
completely rebuilt and .30 over. The motor comes with all new
valves, Magnum springs, hardened seats, Comp Cam and Lifters kit
(#21-224-4, valve lift = .488 I .491 E, with 274 duration), new
Forged pistons, new rings, reconditioned steel crank & rods, new
bearings, a double sprocket timing chain, windage trey, HD oil
pump, and a new electric ignition. The 915 heads bolted to this big
block have also been rebuilt and restored as well as the correct
Carter 750 CMF AVS Carburetor. The transmission is also a
date-correct 1971 A-833 4-Speed manual that has been professionally
rebuilt. Attached to it is a brand-new Hurst Shifter, shifting
rods, McLeod Clutch and new driveshaft linked to a Sure Grip rear
end 489 case with 3:55 gears. The body is in excellent condition
with all new fenders, new quarter panels, and hood and is all
straight and aligned. The cross members are original and solid, as
well as the original wheel houses, well area, doors floors, trunk,
deck lid, grill - all original with no rust or corrosion. The
Shaker Bubble Kit is from Ben Snoberg and is fully functional. As
for the undercarriage, the entire frame has been restored and
re-coated in high-quality Gloss Black to match the rest of the car.
The car features drum brakes all the way around as well as a new
master cylinder, new brake distribution block, all new lines and
hoses, new wheel cylinders, new e-brake cable, shoes and hardware.
The original front end features new bushings, ball joints, pittman
and idler arm, and tie-rods. New shocks all the way around, big
block K-Member/Torsion bars, new heavy duty leaf springs and a rear
sway bar. Wrapped around the black steel Mopar wheels with Plymouth
Division Caps is a new set of BF Goodrich tires and she's ready to
hit the road! The exterior of the car shows incredible whether
inside a showroom or out in the sun with its pristine "Formal
Black" X9 Base/Clear paint job. New bumpers, emblems and windshield
are all brand new, but the rest of the brightwork is all-original
and has been restored back to its glory. The inside of this car is
just as beautiful as the outside with all new seat covers, carpet,
dash cap, original door panels, all working gauges, and all working
accessory and courtesy lights. All the weather stripping and window
sweeps have been replaced as well, and the all-new convertible top
