Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this outstanding
1940 Chevrolet Pickup! This clean old truck just went through a
frame-off restoration just over 1,300 miles ago - and she runs and
drives beautifully! Under the hood of this old classic is a Big
Block Buick V8 430 CID motor with a new Edelbrock Carburetor paired
to a smooth shifting TH400 automatic transmission and 12-bolt
rear-end. It is also equipped with a cool custom push-button start
feature the fires up on the first crank every time! The motor is
tuned right and runs outstanding with instant throttle response.
During the restoration, all new Oak Wood was finished and sealed
and looks beautiful in the truck bed. The undercarriage is
extremely clean, and the paint and body are extremely straight and
in outstanding condition. The frame was completely repainted during
the restoration process, and the original suspension was brought
back to life. Other features include an all new steering box and
tie-rods, and a new aluminum radiator with a Flex-a-lite electric
fan for extra cooling. Inside, the truck is super clean with a
freshly upholstered bench seat, new carpet, new turn signal and
accessory switches, and a complete set of new Dolphin gauges.
Cruise across the country in this truck with one hand on the wheel,
and your other on the window sill! To see 100+ HD pictures and
