Vehicle Description
This timeless beauty is one of the last American cars to be
handcrafted. There were only 444 built, partly due to the fact that
they were too expensive to manufacture. At the time of the cars
inception, the Mark II wore a whopping price tag of $13,000, which
surpassed the luxury Rolls Royce. The Mark II is muscled by a 368
cu. in. engine which was specially made, blue printed and balanced
for this model. Butter soft, handcrafted leather interior imported
from Scotland added to the luxury of the already smooth ride. Famed
automobile designer Gord Buehrig of the Auburn, Cord Duesenberg
Company was one of the designers of the Mark II and the man
responsible for the stainless steel pipes & the long lower
look.
