Vehicle Description
The TR-6 was the last in the line of Triumph sports cars dating
back to the original TR-1 of 1950. With a 4 cylinder engine and
rudimentary weather protection, the original TRs were rather
spartan sports cars. TR-6, with its Karmann designed body,
independent rear suspension, roll up windows, and smooth 2.5 liter
6 cylinder engine was much more comfortable and practical, but
still drove like a classic British sports car.
The burgundy exterior of this 1974 TR-6 is complimented by its
Moto-Lita steering wheel, black leather interior, chrome wire
wheels, and mellow sounding stainless steel exhaust. Other
mechanical improvements include a reliable Pertronix electrical
upgrade, K&N air filters, new brake lines, and a new water pump
with new belts and hoses. So, drop the black vinyl top and enjoy
adding a few more sunny miles to the low 82,500 that the car has
been driven in the past few decades.
