GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1974 Chevrolet Corvette
for purchase. The C3 generation of Corvettes ran from 1968 to 1982,
but had some various changes throughout the run of the Stingray.
With gov't restrictions killing off muscle cars the stingray had to
transition to more of a cruiser. A Chevrolet advertisement
headlined: "We gave it radials, a quieter ride, guard beams and a
nose job." Improvements to body mounts and interior did improve the
Corvette's ride and interior noise was reduced by 40%. Today, C3
Corvettes are some of the best buys in the classic automobile
world. These cars were incredibly popular and provide a great ride
with plenty of available spare parts. Despite all these changes,
Chevy still offered the 454ci V8 for one last year in the C3
run.
This is a beautiful '74 Corvette 454 with t-tops that was plucked
out of an estate just a couple years ago. It received new Shorty
Headers. It's powered by what's believed to be the original 454ci
V8 engine paired with an automatic transmission. This is a really
sweet Stingray inside, outside, and underneath! The car comes with
AC components but are not installed on the car. Check out the pics
