This 1963 Austin-Healey BJ7 MKII is an excellent example of a highly restored, concours-quality vehicle. Following its restoration, this Austin-Healey was accepted to participate at the Hilton Head Concours d’Elegance. The acceptance letter and show plate from Hilton Head are included in the sale. Quality and style surround this vehicle, and more than $100,000 in receipts document the total frame-off restoration. Every aspect of the vehicle was replaced new or properly restored. The upholstery—consisting of Heritage leather with red piping—the convertible top and boot material—consisting of Stafast—are of the highest quality. Five new 72-spoke wire wheels and Vredestein tires help this Austin-Healey grip the road. Lucas running lights, badge bar, owners manual and original tools are all included with this vehicle. The properly restored engine and running gear are documented and confirmed as all matching by the vehicle’s Heritage Certificate. On the exterior, the two-tone red and black finish, a color change from the original blue over blue, complements the style and overall quality of this vehicle the way that it should.
