For Sale: 1989 Ford Bronco in Aurora, Colorado

Vehicle Description

1989 Ford Bronco XLT

351 Windsor Engine, C6 automatic transmission, power windows, locks, and A/C. 4x4 with manual locking hubs.

131,259 miles, clean title, and never been in an accident.

I have all of the records of the work done by previous owner, and the records of all the work I have put into it since owning it.

Work done since I’ve owned it:

  • All oil gaskets and seals replaced including rear main seal.
  • Brakes drums and pads replaced with a brake fluid flush and replaced front wheel seals.
  • Replaced all vehicle drive belts.
  • Replaced starter motor and solenoid.
  • Replaced lower intake gaskets.
  • Replaced radiator and all corresponding hoses.
  • Replaced water pump.
  • Replaced thermostat.
  • Replaced shocks with Rancho shocks that will accommodate up to a 3 inch lift.
  • Replaced heater core.
  • Complete rear end rebuild including master kit, axle bearings and seals, Ford 8.8 31 Spline trac lock carrier.
  • Ford 8.8 3:55 rear axles.
  • Installed remanufactured a/c compressor and new accumulator.
  • Replaced power steering pump.
  • Replaced wheel bearings and seals.
  • Rebuilt Neutral Safety Switch (currently needs adjustment, but works fine).
  • Replaced all U Joints.
  • Lubed Speedometer cable.
  • New 32 inch tires all the way around. Spare on back is still 31 inch.
  • Installed K&N high air flow filter.
  • Installed trailer hitch and trailer brake.
  • Kenwood Bluetooth, USB, Auxiliary, and Sirius compatible stereo.

Things to be noted about condition

  • Interior is in good shape minus a tear on the drivers seat.
  • Front window has a crack on top passenger side on front windshield (see pic).
  • I believe the radius arm bushings will need to be replaced in future.
  • Oil changes have always been done every three thousand miles.
  • Replaced oil pressure sensor, but reading on dash still fluctuates occasionally. However, oil pressure is just fine.
  • Scratch on passenger side back quarter panel (see pic). Was there when I purchased it.
  • Door lock button on driver’s side does not work. However, all power window buttons work.
  • Lock on center console does not work.
  • The top has never been removed. So no leaks or squeaks.
  • Back window works great. Button on inside and key turn on tailgate both work.
  • I have never had it off road.
  • No lift.
  • No rust underneath.

This has been my daily driver since I’ve owned it. It runs great, and is in great condition for its age!
