VW as a company could be categorized as starting the exploring
across America in the 60-70's as the Bus started to hit the shores
and many people jumped on the bus to view the USA. With the Type 2
Westy like this one, the roads were not your only option and hotels
were no longer needed. You went where you wanted to go and had your
bed, cooler and stove riding along the whole way. This unique
vehicle gave additional freedom to the explorer and adventure
seeker as it was all self-sustained. It truly was the car that
could turn into a house on wheels and people loved it.
Offered here for your purchase is a stunning and partially restored
VW Campmobile that was sold new in July of 1977 out of Rod Schloth
VW in Palatka FL. The car was driven and enjoyed in the south its
entire life. The first owner, Mr. Raburn Brackett camped, explored
and drove it for the next 20 years until it was stored at a
friend's barn for the next 15+ years. We located this VW in 2016
and it became a company/family project to restore it and bring it
back to the glory that it deserves. The following bullet points are

The vehicle comes with all factory correct cabinets with stove,

also has the full camper top with bed setup and proper curtains.
This bus also has the very rare factory A/C setup. Vehicle also
comes with the original fuel injection componets if someone would
like to go back to that setup. We have the original MSRP, factory
manuals and a sales brochure that the VW dealers used to market the
vehicle when new. These buses are extremely popular and the trend
is pushing higher each day as the availability of parts and nice
ones without rust and rot are harder and harder to find.
