1970 was a short year of production for General Motors. The company was on strike for most of 1969 to past spring 1970. They did however produce a few great cars in that short time and this is one of them. This 1970 Chevelle SS LS5 Sport Coupe offered for sale is an excellent example of what American muscle cars are all about. It is powered by a LS5 454ci engine mated to an M-22 Rock Crusher 4-speed manual transmission coupled to a posi rear end. This is a documented example with the original build sheet, original sheet metal and a matching numbers powertrain. The options are vast and include a cowl induction hood, power disc brakes, strato bucket seats, full console, tinted glass, correct 14 inch SS mag wheels including the spare and an AM radio. This is an actual mileage vehicle from a great collection. Finished on correct color code 28 blue with contrasting white stripes with a functional cowl hood. The interior is the correct Pearl White.
