The Fiat 124 Sport Spider is a monocoque, front-engine, rear drive
2+2 convertible sports car manufactured by Fiat Automobiles for
model years 1966-1980. Designed and manufactured by Italian
carrozzeria Pininfarina, the 124 Spider debuted at the November
1966 Turin Auto Show. Fiat later marketed the car as the 2000
Spider (1979-1982), and Pininfarina marketed the car at the end of
its production as the Pininfarina Spider Azzura (1983-1985). The
124 Spider was sold in Europe and the U.S. from its introduction
until the 1975 model year when it was modified to comply with new
U.S. regulations and no European version was produced. Sales in
Europe resumed when Pininfarina took over production in 1983 under
the name Pininfarina Europa Spider.
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1984 Fiat Pininfarina Spider for your consideration. This vehicle shows extremely well in the red exterior and it is evident that time and money was not a concern when the previous owner(s) were taking care for and maintaining this vehicle. Powered by the reliable 2.0L 4 cylinder engine, and paired to the 3-speed automatic transmission, this vehicle starts right up with the turn of the key and shifts smoothly through every gear. According to the owner, this is a three owner vehicle, for the last 10 years it was stored indoors and detailed frequently. The vehicle is unrestored but the current owner has replaced many small items that tend to go, at just 90,000 miles some of the maintenance includes; timing belt service, water pump service, radiator replacement, oil change and all coolant hoses replaced with OEM hosing. According to our vehicle intake inspection, all of the lights (high beam, low beam, turn signals), wipers, trunk/hood latches, radio, horn, seat function, windows, locks, heater and convertible top work as they should with no issues. Please call or email us today for more information on this 1984 Fiat Pininfarina Azzura.
